The Selichot event last night...what a spectacular evening. Studying with Rabbi Schneider is wonderful! We learned so much and had alot of fun in the process. Afterwards, communed with my friends and made some new ones while enjoying my wine, eating wonderful cheese and fruit. Onto the concert...Wow!The choir is sounding even better this year. Thank you to the Guzman\'s for sponsoring the choir. Rabbi Herring\'s Selichot services were awesome, as usual. He just makes sense. Sounds of the shofar and the aroma of the spice box for Havdallah was exhilarating. Ending the evening with putting our prayers in the wall. Off to a great start for the New Year. L\'Shanah Tovah!

Temple Kol Ami is pleased to announce that it has become an official partner with Valley Beit Midrash (VBM). VBM is a collaborative adult education program that brings new, exciting and relevant Jewish learning to the Greater Phoenix Jewish community in a diverse, welcoming, engaging and pluralistic setting.

In this course we will consider different theological responses to the horrors of the Shoah. From ultra-Orthodox rabbis writing at the time of the Shoah to scholars writing decades after the event, we will consider a wide range of responses to the fundamental questions posed by the holocaust.

Cost $60 for 5 sessions
