History

The Early Childhood Center of Temple Kol Ami opened its doors to a waiting community in 2001. The ECC opened with sixty six children on its first day, and has been successfully serving the Jewish community ever since. Roni Zeman served five years as the school’s first director until she handed the reins to the ECC’s current Director, Debbie Glassman in 2006.

Under Debbie’s loving guidance, the school has continued to grow, and thrive. She added an enrichment program to the already outstanding curriculum. 2010 marked the addition of a second infant room, and a science room. In 2011, Rabbi Jeremy Schneider joined Rabbi B. Charles Herring at Temple Kol Ami. Rabbi Schneider enrolled his two young children in the ECC and conducts services and special programs for the students.

The future is as bright as the colors of this new ECC website. We are taking full advantage of the digital age by incorporating the use of daily classroom pictures and updates that only parents can view within the password protected area of this site. The school welcomes infants through pre-kindergarten.
