Kol Ami Young Adult Club

Reconnecting young adults to our community, our Jewish heritage, and each other.

We are a group of 20/30′s who are current, former or future members of Temple Kol Ami. The idea of KAYAC began in the home of Rabbi & Barbara Herring as a way to get young Jewish adults to interact with their community, each other, and their Jewish heritage. Since May 2010 we’ve been gathering momentum and are happy to report that KAYAC is going strong!

For those of you who haven’t had the opportunity to get involved, now is a great time! Please contact us at kayac.tka@gmail.com. Come back to this webpage regularly for future updates and a soon to come Facebook page as well!

Temple Kol Ami is pleased to announce that it has become an official partner with Valley Beit Midrash (VBM). VBM is a collaborative adult education program that brings new, exciting and relevant Jewish learning to the Greater Phoenix Jewish community in a diverse, welcoming, engaging and pluralistic setting.

In this course we will consider different theological responses to the horrors of the Shoah. From ultra-Orthodox rabbis writing at the time of the Shoah to scholars writing decades after the event, we will consider a wide range of responses to the fundamental questions posed by the holocaust.

Cost $60 for 5 sessions
